Our youth classes use the Show Me Jesus curriculum produced by Great Commission Publications. The materials provide an age appropriate look at the unfolding story of Jesus Christ, the promised Savior, in a review of the scripture from Genesis to Revelation. The curriculum for each class includes in-class student activity papers, at-home papers, arts and crafts, appropriate music and songs and visual aids.
Betts Bible Class is comprised of the young adults starting with college age students. The class is named in honor of Dr. C. Bynum Betts, longtime and beloved pastor of Providence ARP Church, who was a well-regarded leader in the denomination. Curriculum follows the International Sunday School Series, designed for a course study in all books of the Bible in six year cycles, with the ARP Quarterly serving as the primary reference material. Betts Bible Class members encourage the work of ARP World Missions and other denominational institutions and programs through prayer, study, and financial support, as well as maintaining an outreach program to elderly church members who are no longer able to attend worship services.
The Older Adult Class uses materials that follow the International Sunday School Series, which includes the ARP Quarterly. These lessons give faithful treatment of each week’s lesson text in a manner that teaches abiding principles set forth in the Bible and honors the Bible as God’s Holy and unchanging Word.
